This privacy policy is intended to inform you of the type of data collected, how we process it and rights that you have.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable law on the right to privacy, and more particularly in accordance with the General Regulations on the Protection of data and the law of July 30, 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data staff.

INGInious is a platform for the evaluation of exercises of programming carried out by students using correction tools automated. INGInious exercises are designed to give feedback non-binary and thus help students improve their skills in programming.

INGInious allows you to discover the programming as well as solve university-type exercises, all on the same platform.

Personal data processed

The personal data we process are as follows:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • E-mail
  • Courses taken by the user
  • Results of exercises carried out since registration
  • All the tests carried out on each of the exercises since registration

Purposes of processing

These personal data are processed for the purpose of:

  • Identify the student
  • Centralize the tests and results
  • Correct and give feedback for improvement
  • Establish statistics

They are processed on the basis of your consent.

You can withdraw the latter at any time by unsubscribing from the platform.

Recipients

The data is never passed on to third parties.

Shelf life

Your personal data is kept for the time necessary for the pursuit of the purposes listed in point Purposes of processing of this privacy policy.

Your rights

In accordance with the regulations in force, you have the rights following:

  1. A right of access

    You have the right to obtain confirmation that your data are or are not being processed and, when they are, you have the right to obtain access to such data.

  2. A right of rectification

    You have the right to obtain the rectification of your personal data inaccurate staff, and as soon as possible.

    You also have the right to have them completed if they are incomplete.

  3. A right to portability

    You have the right to receive your personal data in a format structured, commonly used and machine readable. You have also the right to transmit this data to another responsible for treatment.

  4. A right to limit the processing of your data

    Subject to the limiting conditions provided for by the regulations applicable, you can obtain the limitation of data processing to personal character concerning you.

    When you request a restriction of processing, we may only store your data. No other operation may, in principle, take place on this personal data.

  5. A right to erasure

    Subject to the limiting conditions provided for by the regulations applicable, you can request the erasure of personal data about you. This can be done by deleting your account in your profile page.

  6. The right to lodge a complaint with the authority of control

    INGInious protects all data thanks to a set of measures adapted. Especially :

    • Awareness of the confidentiality requirements of INGInious maintainers.
    • Securing the premises and servers dedicated to INGInious.
    • The implementation of security protocols concerning access to sensitive data.
    • The careful selection of tools external to the platform.

In order to make the use of our platform as good as possible, we are forced to use cookies. These have no purpose of advertising trackings and are only present in order to to optimize your navigation. You have the right to delete and block these but it could alter your user experience of the INGInious platform.
